How do I pay for registration?
All members are asked to bring your completed registration form and payment to your first activity.
If you are unable to print the form, there will be blanks available at your first activity to take home and bring back completed the following week with your *payment (see below for specific payment information.)
Your signature on the registration form indicates that you have read and accept the Waiver and Liability and agree to following the Covid-19 protocols and health guidelines on the Brockville 50+ Activity Centre Website. Although you have read the protocols and health guidelines prior to the last semester, we encourage you to read them on the website again prior to attending your first activity. There may be additional requirements that you are not aware of.
Payments - Please write your cheque or Money Order to
Brockville 50+ Activity Centre
and attach it to your registration form. One cheque for each registration form will greatly assist the board in completion of records and banking. We ask that you do not include cash. Thanking you in advance for your co-operation with this request.
What about parking?
At the Salvation Army we have activities at the North of the building and at the South. Please enter the North door for activities in the gym and enter the South door for activities in the South room. Please park outside those respective doors and only enter and exit via those doors.
At the Perth St location there are approximately 20 parking spots in front of the building and lots of street parking around the neighbourhood. There is a gap in the schedule between activities to allow the parking lot to drain before the next class starts. Please vacate the facility and parking lot as quickly as possible to make room for participants in the next activity.
We would like to ventilate the room at Perth St as much as possible and so at times it may become quite fresh inside. For this reason we suggest you plan on wearing warm clothing the first couple times until we have things figured out.
Also note, because of the potential churn due to covid19 it is possible we may still have to shift the location and / or schedule of some activities.
Tax Receipts for Donations
Many members have expressed they would like to financially support the 50+ Activity Centre even though they are not able to take part in an activity at this time.
We certainly appreciate any help as our costs continue (rent, internet, phone, cleaning, supplies, etc.) even though we are running with reduced numbers. A tax receipts can be issued for any donation of $25 or more for a person who does not attend an activity.
If you wish to make a financial donation please make your cheque payable to "Brockville 50+ Activity Centre". You can either mail it to us or call and we will happily pick it up!
If you still have questions after reviewing these instructions and after browsing the activity schedule and forms on the website, then email your questions to email@example.com
