As the world continues to tackle the spread of CoVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus (SARS-COV-2), governments are bringing in more measures to restrict social interactions. This will allow healthcare systems across the globe to battle the virus without being overwhelmed in a short period #flattenthecurve

#SocialDistancing is one of the most important things we can do at this time to limit the spread of the virus, but what does it actually mean?

Social Distancing means taking steps to limit the contact you have with other people. Some ways you can do this are: only going shopping for food and essential items and as infrequently as possible, making sure you stay 2 metres away from everyone outside of the household, and staying in your house as much as possible.

Box turtles are the champions of social distancing; by withdrawing themselves and closing their shells, they shut themselves off from turtles, preventing them from receiving or transmitting any diseases to their neighbours.

Let's all follow their example!

Stay safe, stay calm, but most importantly, stay at home!
