Report from Barcelona 

This past Saturday, the beautiful city of Barcelona welcomed global travellers to the famous Altair Library. 

The meeting was filled with travel tales, sneak peeks into what’s happening behind the scenes at NomadMania, and making connections with new travellers.

Last Friday we had an exciting discussion with a panel of travelling parents about the fun, challenges, and tips and tricks of travelling with children of all ages.

New DARE places (all in Southern Europe megaregion) of this week are: 

• Bosnia and Herzegovina - Rastošnica area (Federation extreme northeast)
• Greece - Agios Efstratios island
• Italy - Formazza (Val d’Ossola extreme north)
• Portugal - Troia Peninsula
• Spain - La Manga del Mar Menor

PHOTO: Portugal's Troia peninsula's history dates back to the Roman Empire when the local economy revolved around fishing and salt production. The Roman ruins here were inhabited until approximately the 6th century. The region also became an important location for Portuguese shipbuilding in the 16th century. Today, with its Roman ruins, beautiful beaches, and clear waters, it is a popular tourist destination.
