Dear ,
Hilde, Géraud and Pieterjan – to name but a few – are missionaries here at VIANOVA who are actively involved with new Christian communities across Belgium. By choosing to reflect the love of Jesus on a day-to-day basis, and by integrating themselves into the daily life of their respective local areas, they regularly have the privilege of witnessing the step-by-step journeys or radical upheavals in the faith of those they are serving.
Tom, Joas, Christel, Jona, and their colleagues work at the VIANOVA Centre. They may not be local community leaders, but their role is nevertheless just as vital. Managing files, ensuring salaries are paid, registering for social security, managing accounts and budgets, carrying out job interviews, creating partnerships, providing training, promoting the work of VIANOVA, managing communications, and ensuring visibility... without them, we would certainly not be able to do half of what we do.
Did you know that their salaries depend entirely on financial donations? Did you know that fundraising for such administrative positions is less successful than for "missionary-pastor-planter" positions? Did you know that this has meant that we have had to set up a special fund to pay the salaries of our office staff?
You can make a difference to them by joining our crowd of generous donors on this Giving Tuesday.
During this end of year campaign, which runs from 28th November to 31st December, we hope to raise $7,000 to finance our Staff Fund.
In the coming weeks, we'll take you behind the scenes at VIANOVA. Follow us on social media to find out more and stay up-to-date. In addition to your financial support, you can also help us by sharing our newsletters and social media posts to increase our online visibility.
Thank you very much for your interest in VIANOVA’s work in Belgium. With your help, we can continue pursuing God and reflecting the love of Jesus.
