Hi ,
Thank you for joining us for another edition of What's On Weekly!
I'm sure many of you have seen the horrifying images and news stories of the atrocities happening in Ukraine. Hull What's On stands with the people of Ukraine and the humanitarian efforts to save lives in the country. Thankfully, we are not alone in that stance as the people of Hull have shown huge support for the Ukraine aid effort.
After an overwhelming response, the Hull 4 Heroes shop will no longer be able to accept donations, but support is still being accepted elsewhere. You can see how to support here.
In lighter news; music lovers across the city should have a 'spring' in their step this season, as Hull's premier venues will play host to some of the world's biggest and best musicians. Bonus Arena, Hull City Hall, and Hull New Theatre will welcome acts such as Paul Weller, Marti Pellow, Bastille, Heather Small and Craig David.
However if you're looking for something fantastic to do a little bit earlier, we've got you covered! Ian has scouted around the city looking for fantastic events and activities to keep you entertained all week.
The Awakening in Hull’s city centre is the hit event this weekend, with huge performances from The Wanted at Bonus Arena and Jake Bugg at Hull City Hall in the week. Plus, things get creepy at Hull New Theatre with The Addams Family taking residency all week.
