We mentioned this in last week's Livestream w/ Phlash & Janine show, but wanted to make sure those who didn't get a chance to see it were able to participate.
Korean War Veteran Robert Mintz is currently in a rehab center after a horrible head-on collision. I saw photos of him and his car, and it is truly a miracle he made it out alive. He has a road of recovery ahead of him.
Here's some information that his son, Stuart, sent over. The address to send him a card - or have your kids / students draw him pictures to decorate his room, and remind him we are praying for him and grateful for his service is below.
Richard was an ensign on the original USS Gunston Hall. He ran communication operations and radar.
He served in Korea 4 years and was injured on duty but returned service.
The Navy funded his degree at the USC Trojans. His degree is in electrical engineering. He was the program director for the radar in the F14, F15 and 18 and was assigned to Tyndall AFB and flew daily with fighter pilots who are about half crazy as depicted in “Top Gun” were. His planes and radar remain in service.
His current address at the Rehab is: The Center at Lincoln 12230 Lioness Way Parker CO, 80104 Room 222 Nurses Station 2AB Robert M. Mintz.
