👋
Hey Mori crew,
I have this ONE side projects going on. You know, it’s this thing that you really want to work on but that is always being put aside because there’s other, more urgent, things to do first. Every month I tell myself that I will work on it next month, when the lab and shop is less busy. And like usual I though October would be THE month I could work on my big project, but guess what… October was super busy and it didn’t happen. Maybe I’ll have to wait for November. 🤷♂️
Anyway, I’m ranting but October was actually amazing and we got a lot! The amount of film we received briefly went down after the end of the holidays but is now back up just enough to keep our days fully packed.
We’ve also been hard at work getting more cameras ready. It’s only beginning of November and we can see the camera sales are going up so we want to make sure our stock is ready to avoid ending totally sold out like last year!
We had the gallery opening for our Summer exhibition. Lots of people showed up and we had a great time! This exhibition will be up until mid December so make sure Showyou come and check it out.
And the big news, after a difficult month, film came back! We received loads of Portra 400, 160, Gold 200 and Ultramax. While the two last ones are already sold it Portra is still available in all of its forms.
And what’s coming you’re asking?
There’s at least 2 days to save:
Sunday, 27th of November - Ghent Photowalk
We have a beautiful photowalk planned for you in one of Belgium’s most beautiful cities. Only 30 minutes away from the lab by train it’s going to be one awesome afternoon. We’ll make it easy for everyone to join. More details coming soon on our Instagram and Facebook page.
Saturday, 17th of December - 2nd year anniversary party
Covid forced us to skip our open party, it also made us pass on our 1st anniversary. So this year we want to make it BIG. Think DJ, ephemeral exhibition, awesome people, great drinks and many other surprises. 🎅🏼 We really want to make it worth the wait
For the rest we’ll keep working to make sure the next coming months happen as smoothly as possible with possibly one or two surprises. 😉
Take care,
Raph & Cole
