A suspicious approach was reported by the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) involving a yacht approximately 74NM southwest of Aden. The Master of the yacht reported that up to 12 small crafts followed their passage over a two-hour period.

Evasive maneuvers were initiated when one of the crafts closed to within 1NM. All crew members are safe, and the yacht is continuing to its next port of call.

All vessels in the area are advised to proceed with caution and to report any suspicious activities to the UKMTO.
