Public Newsletter - Our May 2022 Visit Keswick newsletter will be going out on Tuesday 3rd May. It goes out to over 24,000 public subscribers and is a great way to promote your business directly to people with an interest in Keswick. The cost is only £50+vat.

Keswick Mountain Festival - As in previous years we will be attending Keswick Mountain Festival and have the following marketing opportunities available for members:

Keswick Mountain Festival (KMF) takes place 20 – 22 May, with 18 sporting events, live music and great speakers.

Take advantage of an incredible 20% discount off the cost of a sports entry which includes one night of live music and festival village activities! All you have to do is enter kta20%_kmf2022 at the checkout before 13^th May, when online sports entries close.

Grants For EV Charging Points

The Government has introduced a new scheme to provide grants of up to £350 for every electric vehicle charge point socket installed

by accommodation businesses. (Each operator can claim up to 40 grants).

This grant is available for B&Bs, campsites, small hotels, and any other accommodation business with less than 250 employees provided that the business is registered with Companies House, has a VAT number or has a HMRC registration letter.

Visit England Annual Attractions Survey

VisitEngland's Annual Attractions Survey is still live and has been extended until 22nd May. Attractions will have received a link that is personal to them, so we can't include it here, but please respond as soon as possible.

If you have any questions, or, if you believe that your attraction hasn't received an invite, please email Annualattractionssurvey@visitengland.org.

The survey is an official statistic and generates considerable media interest, both local and national, when published. The results from the survey are incredibly useful in informing the tourism sector about trends in the attractions industry in England, and are the most downloaded results on the VisitEngland corporate website. This year, the survey is particularly important as it will help us understand the impact of the continued pandemic on attractions in 2021.
