NomadMania always strives to come up with innovative ideas that stimulate and celebrate the travel community, so this year we have thought of a novel way to present the 5th NomadMania Awards.

Throughout the weekend of November 22 and 23rd, we plan to host an online event called 'Weekend of 100 UN Masters'.

As you may know, a UN Master is a traveller who has visited every country. Our aim is to break the world record of participation in an online event by those who have been to every country by bringing together at least 100 under one (virtual) banner.

Up to now, we believe the record for online presence is 30 UN Masters during the transmission of our first NomadMania Awards in November 2021, while the record for 'real life' UN Masters is 31 at the last edition of the Extraordinary Travel Festival in Bangkok.

See more details about this event here :-)

If you're a UN Master and would like to participate simply hit "Reply" and we'll send you more details. 95 UN Masters are already onboard!

Premium Package Launch Updates

During the last week we launched our new Premium Package. Subscriptions closed yesterday with 233 members onboard.

Now, our tech team is all hands down on implementing future updates in cooperation with the early adopters group. We'll keep the entire NomadMania community posted!

Meanwhile you're welcome to join the waitlist of the next release here.

Youngest Person to Visit Every Country Twice

In a world where most people dream of visiting a handful of countries in their lifetime, Alvaro Rojas has now been to ALL of them — TWICE.

At just 36, the Spanish adventurer, founder of Wander Expeditions, and now one of only four people verified to have completed two full rounds of all 193 UN countries, has redefined what it means to explore the world.

We first spoke to Alvaro in 2020, when he had just become the youngest Spaniard to visit every country. Five years later, his journey has evolved from personal conquest to community, from solo missions to group impact.

So, we sat down with him to talk about what’s changed, what’s stayed the same, and what it really means to go everywhere, again.

[New Tour] Burundi, Rwanda & Uganda

  • 📅 20 Jan 2026 ➡️ 29 Jan 2026
  • Gorilla & Safari tour

This 10-day trip through Burundi, Rwanda, and Uganda focuses on two of the most remarkable wildlife experiences in East Africa: a full-day safari in Akagera National Park and a guided gorilla trek in Uganda’s Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

These are not ordinary sightseeing stops — Akagera offers a rare chance to see animals like lions, giraffes, and hippos in a landscape that combines savannah, lakes, and wetlands, while Mgahinga provides the opportunity to track one of the few remaining mountain gorilla families in the world.

The rest of the itinerary includes visits to lesser-known areas across six NomadMania regions and four NomadMania DARE regions. In Burundi, we explore historical palaces, vibrant local markets, and the iconic drumming sanctuary of Gitega.

In Rwanda, the route includes lakeside villages and a boat trip to the isolated Nkombo Island. The trip ends in Kigali after a scenic drive through western Rwanda. Transport is by private vehicle throughout, with overnight stays in comfortable, well-located hotels and lodges.

This trip was a smash-hit last January; this one will be even better!
