Here in New York City, it seems that the worst is passed, and while it is by no means over we can begin to see the end in sight. And so in this edition, we look together towards how culture, government, business and life are adapting and evolving in the midst of the crisis, with an eye towards what comes next.

Estonia takes over the UN Security Council presidency

Estonia, which joined the UNSC at the beginning of the year for a two-year stint, took on the month-long rotating UN Security Council (UNSC) presidency from Friday, May 1, and plans to use its sting to focus on the coronavirus pandemic in the light of security, cybersecurity, fundamental principles of international law and increased transparency for the UNSC itself.

Tallinn Art Hall’s virtual art exhibition praised in New York Times
