Cow Country Cozy
This month, I have a few suggestions for that reading nook of yours.
1. Stock upon on your Calvin and Hobbes. How doesn't love Spaceman Spiff? Or Calvinball? This article reminds us of why we all love that terrible child with his philosophical tiger. A wonderfully cozy read.
2. Restart that journaling practice. Ok, I hate journaling too. But having a beautiful notebook around is essential. You never know when inspiration may strike! These notebooks are really beautiful too.
3. Try out a classic doorstop fantasy. Oh, you're not familiar with the term? It's a fantasy book that's so fat it'll stop any door in its tracks. And one of my favorite series of all time is the classic Deed of Paksenarrion by Elizabeth Moon. Perfect reading for any winter. Even those impossible Southern Hemisphere winters with heat and pools and things.
4. Get a unique reading coffee mug. You know all those cute/chintzy coffee mugs with book-related messages on them (yeah, I love them too). But this one is actually nice to look at too.
What are some of your favorite ways of sprucing up your reading nook and making it as cozy as possible?
