The Spectacular, Cold-Loving Hellebore

The hellebore, commonly referred to as a "Lenten Rose," is one of the earliest blooming perennials. So early, in fact, their big beautiful blooms can oftentimes be seen peeking through the snow this time of year. Hellebores thrive at colder temps, making them perfect for gardeners who just can't wait for spring. And, after their blooms are spent, their foliage is a wonderful accent to any landscape.
