Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
Women's Bible Study:All ladies are invited to join us for a Bible Study based on a book by Kay Arthur, David Lawson, and Bob Vereen. We are studying 1 & 2 Peter and Jude. Books are $8 and are available for purchase in the church office. The Bible Study will be held on Wednesdays at 6:30pm.
Blessing Bags: Each bag is prepared and packed with love, prayed over, and then given to someone who is currently fighting a battle with cancer. If you would like to help, we are looking for special items that have Bible verses on them and hand made items no bigger than 5x7 size. It could be bookmarks, doilies, mug warmers, magnets, small wall hangings, key rings, mini room sprays, cute soft socks, neutral lip gloss, mini mouth wash, mini adult color books and color pencils, small fidget toys, stress ball, small craft kits like suncatchers, car fresheners, small devotion books, journals and cute notebooks and sticky notes. Please let us know if you know of someone who is fighting cancer and would be blessed by this gift!
Crochet Class: Would you be interested in a crochet class? We do not have a date/time set yet... just trying to see if we have enough people interested to start one.
SHOEBOX SHOPPING!!It's not just for Christmas anymore!! Grab a box in the back hallway anytime and fill it. Labels for boxes will be available in that hallway also. Be praying for God to lead you towards filling a box for a girl or a boy. Get your family in on the shopping action! Let your kids or grandkids go with you to purchase items. Then let them help you fill your box! What a great way to show your kids and grands how to share with others and send God's message of love around the world!
