Hi ,
It's a very strange time of year for me right now...
Last week I was starting to feel all festive, and now this week I'm getting engrossed into the world cup! I don't know whether I like it or not yet, but it's very strange and exciting at the same time.
There are plenty of bars and pubs showing the World Cup matches on their big screens and I can say first hand, that you don't want to miss out on the party atmosphere available when you go out to watch rather than stay at home.
So if you're looking for a top spot to watch England on Friday and Tuesday, start with my article (below) and discover the best places to watch it around the region, including the huge new 700 seat fanzone set up in Princes Quay, the new city centre sports bar, Kick's and more!
Now as it's Christmas too, we've not left you hanging...
Our Liam has rounded up a number of places where you can take your kids / grand-kids to see the big man himself before the big day arrives. There's even a free one set up at North Point in Bransholme that you should look out for, if money is a bit tight for you right now.
And for food lovers, we've got a round up of places to eat that have only opened around Hull & East Yorkshire in the last few months, so take a look and go try them out for yourselves.
Once again, I'd just like to say thanks for subscribing and I'd love your feedback about this week's newsletter. I love reading everyone's comments, please keep 'em coming!
Have a great week whatever you get up to!
