We're enjoying the full bounty of fall at market right now! Greens and lettuces are in their prime, making it one of the best times of the year to enjoy salads that are super fresh and loaded with locally-grown ingredients. Peppers, and particularly hot peppers, are still going strong — freeze some to add flavor and heat to winter stews and comforting casseroles. Apples (and cider!) from Rex Farms are back this week, with a greater variety being harvested.
Scroll through to learn about all who will be there and what they will have available! (Preorders are welcomed and appreciated as noted.) A few regular bi-weekly vendors are away, returning in two weeks: Hilltop Flower Design, Valentine Chocolate Co & Whiskey Hollow.
Join us in supporting local producers through all seasons this Friday / 3–6pm in the parking lot of The Creamery.

A Note of Appreciation |
|
Whether you know Claire Murray (on right in photo) personally or not, if you've shopped market in the last couple of years you probably recognize her by smile and greeting at market entry. We have such mixed emotions in sharing that Claire has moved on from her role as Community Engagement Manager for Historic Kennett to pursue new things. Claire was a farmer and vendor in the early years of the market, and she has been an amazing resource and champion as it has grown and evolved over the years. Read more about Claire's many contributions to the Kennett community, and next time you see her shopping at market, share your appreciation for all she has done!

Rain or Shine!
We're committed to being a rain or shine market! We will pause operations for safety in passing electrical storms. If there are any changes due to extreme conditions, we will provide updates via email and social media. Check Facebook & Instagram if you're uncertain on market day.
Location & Parking
Find us in the parking area of The Creamery of Kennett Square @ 401 Birch St. The Creamery is open starting at 5pm on Fridays.
FREE PARKING is available on the WEST side of 226 East Birch St (across the street from Braeloch Brewing) or at the office adjacent to The Creamery. We encourage you to use the lots versus the street to be respectful to residents on Birch.
Market Shopping Tips
- Preorders continue to be helpful for both producers & customers, so take advantage of that option as available to secure exactly what you need for the week!
- Masks are not required for vendors or guests, but please wear one as you as you feel most comfortable.
- Bring some cash as not all vendors accept cards.
- In the heat of summer, it's a good idea to throw a cooler with ice packs in the car to keep things fresh until you get home.
- Well-behaved pups on leash are welcome at market.
- We have a few carts at market entry to use as you shop, just return to that location when done!
