Easter is not far off, and Remember Provence has a collection of handcrafted chocolates and Easter eggs that look (almost) too beautiful to eat. Order some today.
There are many options for long point-to-point hikes in France. Steve Wilkison shares his hiking adventure in the Mercantour National Park, a short drive north of Nice. You'll find yourself in deep forested valleys, lush alpine meadows, and tall snow-covered mountain peaks.
Many visitors arrive in Avignon on the TGV from Paris or other destinations. The city is an excellent base to visit the Rhône Valley vineyards, the Luberon and the coast. Photographer Renata Haidle provides plenty of ideas for day trips from the Papal city.
