Dear Friends,

Chris & Lisa Cree

Lisa and I hope this finds you well as January of the new year draws to a close. We are filled with tremendous hope even though we here in Scotland are still on a very strict lockdown. Everything is closed except essential businesses. We haven’t been able to visit people in their homes since summer and we are missing being with people. (We did get to visit for one day on Christmas with one other household, which we were grateful for.) At this point the government is not indicating any sort of timeline for loosening things up.

Even so, the reason we have so much hope is that we sense God is on the move. It seems to us big things are happening in the spiritual realm. Lisa and I are confident that this is a year of total victory for believers in a great many areas.

I think I’ve shared in previous newsletters that God told Lisa and I to prepare to disciple more people faster. There is a shaking taking place in the spiritual realm. We continue to do our part here at NewCREEations to be ready to show His goodness to all the people God will bring our way.

Bible College Running Smoothly

Sheep Sunrise

We are pleased to report that the Dumfries campus of the Bible college continues to progress well. God continues to produce good fruit in the lives of our students. They all have fantastic attitudes in the face of the challenges each of them face with the various lockdown restrictions and whatnot.

Here are just some of the comments from the students after our most recent online live Saturday teaching:

"That was a great day!"

"Yes it was another great day. It gets better and better, building us up in the truth to be more than conquerors. Praise God!"

"So grateful for Charis!! Thank you!"

"What a blessed day, with the teaching, fellowship and learning from each other.”

Lisa and I are thankful for the opportunity to be a part of what God is doing in the lives of each of the world changers He has brought to Charis Dumfries.

Special Ministry Via Zoom

Heavy Dew

We’ve had the privilege of hosting Cecil Paxton every January since we opened Charis Dumfries. It is always a time of powerful ministry where God heals people and sets them free from all sorts of issues. With the travel restrictions, we asked if Cecil would be willing to minister via Zoom. He graciously said yes, which resulted in yet another powerful afternoon of ministry. We had over 100 people attend via Zoom, which is beyond the normal capacity of our main on-campus classroom. God is so good!

Stone Wall Snow

On that note, Cecil Paxton asked me (Chris) if I would join him along with Lawson Perdue and his son Aaron Perdue and minister to some of his contacts in Russia, also via Zoom. He specifically asked me to share on Kingdom financial principles.

It was a great honor and privilege to share material from my Rejecting Mammon book into Russia through an interpreter. And it turned out they invited a number of pastors and church leaders from India to attend also. The technology available to reach the nations is truly humbling!

Reviewing 2020

Winter Leaves

2020 was a very different year for us here at NewCREEations. A great many things changed for us when the COVID restrictions began in March. Instead of teaching our students in person on campus, we are teaching them virtually online. We cancelled the student mission trips in the Spring. We eliminated our own travel from that point, with the exception of a few days of get-away time in the Highlands during the brief Summer period of loosed restrictions.

Even so, God continues to touch a great many lives through NewCREEations. Over 240,000 people visited our NewCREEations.org website last year. We sent out over 750,000 emails between our newsletters and our Daily Reflections devotionals. When you add in our video and social media activity, that’s over a million touches with the encouraging news of God’s goodness.

NewCREEations casts a wide net.

At the same time, we are also involved in deep discipleship with our Charis Bible college students. We promoted/graduated 31 students last year. This year we have 33 students who are experiencing the powerful life-changing transformation that comes with focused time in God’s presence studying His word.

Looking Ahead

Sunlight Trees Hill

As you can see, we refuse to allow the schemes of the enemy to prevent us from passionately pursuing the call of God on our ministry to guide believers into experiencing the absolute best available to us in the Kingdom of God. That’s why Lisa and I have so much hope about this new year. We sense that God is on the move.

We feel a sense of expectancy like never before, that God is about to release world wide blessings on a scale like we’ve never seen before. We believe we are moving into a time when the supernatural becomes our new normal.

So please be encouraged. God is up to something big in the world, and we are confident those blessings will touch your life too!

Now glory be to God, who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of—infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes. — Ephesians 3:20 (TLB)

Blessings,

Chris & Lisa Cree

P.S. God is doing something big in the world right now. You have an opportunity to be a part of it. Even if you cannot leave your home and move overseas to the mission field, you can still join with NewCREEations by donating one-time, or partnering on a monthly basis. In that way you qualify in the Kingdom of God to receive the promised reward for missionaries even though you can’t go yourself. (Remember, you can learn more about partnership in the Kingdom of God in chapter 7 of Rejecting Mammon.)
