Sarah and I like to say that we are totally go-with-the-flow... as long as we get to control the dam! Like humans, beavers can create their own ideal environment - they're ecosystem engineers! (some snails make that list too, ask me about it at a show some time :) More on beavers down below...
It's been a really musical summer so far. I got to play at my first Grassroots - on three different stages! Played the dance tent on Saturday night with Dirty Blanket which was a real thrill! And with Tyler Westcott and Friends we played the Infield and the Cabaret. Check out our infield performance here! Next I traveled down to Clifftop, West Virginia for the 23rd annual Appalachian String Band Music Festival. An endless stream of tunes with friends old and new - almost heaven.
The rest of the summer will be just as musical with some exciting shows coming up and I'm beginning to record tunes for my next record, Little Lakes. So stay tuned for more updates about that!
