As you know, NomadMania is the only place where highly ranked travellers are verified, ensuring their travel claims are valid. We are also the authority on those who have been to every country in the world -  UN Masters.

So far, we've been verifying only those who reach a certain upper threshold. Yet, numerous travellers have approached us asking to be verified, even though they are still far from 193 or haven't reached 600 visited regions.

So, we are launching Certification, a paid service for any member wishing to be verified, get a badge and a printed certificate sent to your home address.

As a start, we will offer five types of certificates (more to come soon!):

Purchasing a certificate is also a way to support our team financially so we develop more features for you. Read more about this introduction here.

Go ahead and order your Certificate :-) See our shop here

'Ghost User'

As our community grows, it is becoming increasingly difficult to verify some of the travel claims posted by particular members, therefore undermining the credibility of the entire community.

To maintain high standards for everyone, we are introducing a "Ghost User" status.

This exceptional measure is applied to accounts that post significant travel achievements (especially those that impact the information presented on the NomadMania website and mobile app) and fail to prove their travels records or don't react to our numerous attempts for compulsory verification.

A series of measures will apply in such cases. Read the details here.

New UN Masters

Congratulations to four of our members who recently visited every country in the world, becoming UN Masters.

Avid travel couple from Spain (Elena Ortiz de Urbina and Jaime Barrio, in the photo) finished with South Sudan having ~700 NomadMania regions each.

At the same time Kai Nickelsen from Germany finished this quest at the relatively young age of 28, while Mike Greenberg from the US just made it before turning 40, choosing Papua New Guinea as his final UN country.

Travel Awards 2024 Nominations

So far we've received almost 100 nominations within the seven eligible categories, with quite a few really interesting travel personalities.

So, this is just a reminder that we continue admitting applications :-)

Please nominate your candidates here :-)
