We are really looking forward to the 17th & 31st August and have everything crossed for better weather to enable the events to go ahead. Please share the dates with friends. We'd love to see you there. Full details HERE on our What's On area - scroll down to view.

Thurrock's Dementia Friendly Community Walk leaving from Hardie Park
Saturday 23rd September 2023
Registration: Free. Just turn up on the day!
Itinerary:10am – Zumba warm up.
10.30am – Both 3km and 7km walks depart. Distances are approximate.
Fundraising: Thurrock’s Dementia Friendly Community will be raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society should you wish to donate or raise sponsorship for your walk.
We have signed up to support Macmillan Cancer Support once again. You have always helped us enormously to raise funds for this charity so close to so many. If you can help with providing any bakes / cakes on the day, that would be amazing. We will also be holding a raffle.
Make it a date. There's always a buzz in the cafe for this event. Come and drink some tea and graze on cake. We'd love to see you. Cafe open 10am / event from 11am.
Art Club Update
We asked the community if they would like to see an Art Club for adults at the cafe. Although many were interested there wasn't a 'best' day to accommodate all. Maybe we can revisit the idea over winter. Should anybody wish to come forward and coordinate and get it up and running, this may help clarify the best chosen day for a club moving forward.
Every little helps
Big thanks to the Tesco Team
Thanks to Tesco we're enjoying a chilled summer! Their amazing property team repaired our fridges recently and the supermarket chain have also agreed to continue to give us free refrigeration support ongoing - that’s a really significant benefit to a community project like ours! Refrigeration is key to keeping our cafe and community food pop-up running. We are very grateful for the support
