Located on State Street, Kennett Glass stands as one of Kennett Square’s longest-running and most trusted businesses. Since opening its doors in 1978, it has become a staple of the community — joining the ranks of other long standing State Street merchants like Burton’s Barbershop (est. 1892) and Sam’s Sub Shop (est. 1946). The iconic teal sign is a familiar sight in uptown Kennett Square — a symbol of skilled craftsmanship and small-town resilience that has served Chester County, PA, and Wilmington, DE for more than four decades.

Step into an unforgettable evening where art, movement, and music bring the Wild Medicine Eco Mural to life through aerial dance, live R&B, and electric cello at The Creamery. Proceeds benefit the Kennett Area Park Authority, supporting native plantings and public art along the Kennett Greenway.

Kennett Square Area Newcomers Club, a women's social and charity group is holding an event for interested, prospective and new members. We are a welcoming community from Kennett Square and surrounding areas and we have been going strong for 47 years. We welcome those new to the area and those who have been here for a long time. Halloween Howler 5K and 1-mile Walk

Our Halloween Howler 5K and 1-mile walk is BACK on October 25 for some scary good fun! Gather your family (and dogs!) and join us on October 25 for a family-friendly run through Anson B. Nixon Park in Kennett Square.

The best part? All proceeds will support our neighbors facing homelessness in Chester and Lancaster county.

Kennett Regional Fire Department Fall Fest

October 19th at 1:00 pm

Meet your local firefighters while enjoying the fall weather, live music, delicious food, and family activities!

Several community organizations will be there to join in the fun, and to top it all off, we’ve curated an enticing raffle. Proceeds will benefit all three fire companies: Longwood Fire Company, Kennett Fire Company No. 1 and Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company.
