Dear Reader Regiment,

Yes, indeed, the book must (and shall) go on! Thank you for the generous contributions—both monetary and/or heartfelt words—it means a lot and I am eternally appreciative and grateful as Malchik Media and richardlynttonbooks continues this epic journey.

(b.t.w. for new readers and perhaps some old, a word of explanation about "Dear Reader Regiment." It will be obvious to most if you've read the books, but for newcomers, I simply wanted to address my readers with something fun and relevant to my background and stories. I served in Gulf War 1, Bosnia and Russia in the British army, so I thought "Reader Regiment" would fit. That's all ;-)

If you love Italy and have either visited or plan to visit Capri, you will enjoy the 1960's movie staring Clark Gable and Sophia Loren, "It Happened in Naples" - I was thrilled to see the locations we love to visit filmed on location more than half a century ago. (Good Lord, we are getting old!) If you watch the movie, you can see how many dwellings have sprung up over the years by comparing this recent photo of Marina Grande, Capri, to the "arrival scene" in the film. (I tried one of those "panoramic" shots here - came out well).
