Happy New Year! We hope everyone was able to enjoy time with family and friends, relax, celebrate, and that your 2023 is off to a great start! 

As NSPAC is gearing up in 2023, we are looking forward to a new year filled with many exciting educational events, meeting new neighbors, hosting some child centered events, and pushing forth advocacy for the disability community. 

We have many exciting initiatives underway and can't wait to share them with the community in one of our upcoming Community Connections Forums, Coffee &  Connects, or General Meetings. Click here for our upcoming events.

Welcome our newest Board Member

Joelle Gilmore, Treasurer

Please join us in welcoming Joelle Gilmore as the new NSPAC Treasurer, voted in during this December's Coffee & Connect.

Joelle is a mom of three who currently works as the Testing Coordinator at St. Mark's School in Southborough. In that role she organizes the logistical operations of standardized testing for this prestigious independent high school. Joelle also works as a College Essay Reviewer for Bright Horizons College Coach where she helps students to hone their messages and highlight their written voices in college application essays. Congrats Joelle!

First Annual NSPAC Mini Golf Fundraiser

Join NSPACs First Annual Mini Golf Fundraiser being held at Trombetta Farm in Marlborough on Friday, February 3rd. Tee Times begin at 4:30 PM. The event will run from 4:30 thru 6:30 with tee times every 15 minutes. Purchase a slice of pizza and a drink, enjoy a cup of ice cream, participate in our 50/50 raffle, and enjoy being around friends!

Cost is $10 pp who will mini golf.

Pizza and Drinks will be available for purchase.

NSPAC Donations

Can't join the NSPAC Mini Golf Fundraiser on Friday, February 3rd but still want to donate to our organization? NSPAC provides Northborough and Southborough district families with educational workshops, social activities, kid centered activities, advocates on behalf of families with students on IEPs and 504s, delivers our districts annual Go the Distance Awards, and more. Help support NSPAC activities!

ARHS Unified Champion celebration

All members of the Northborough-Southborough schools community are invited to join us in celebrating Algonquin's recognition by Special Olympics as a "national banner Unified Champion School". The banner will be unveiled at halftime of the boys basketball game versus Shrewsbury, on 1/17. Tipoff is 7:00 pm in the ARHS gym; banner presentation is roughly 7:25 pm. NSPAC Monthly Community Connections Forum

Join NSPAC for our first Community Connections meeting. Let's talk, share experiences with others, listen, and provide advice and information in this community sharing forum. Come to listen or come to share! NSPAC Community Connections will also provide an avenue for NSPAC to inform members in our community of its advocacy efforts to work with Student Support Services and others in District Administration on topic of interest and concern to our community.   Register Here.

NSPAC relies on the volunteer efforts of our parent community to plan, coordinate, promote, and facilitate the programming, social events, and meetings that are held throughout the year. We have many options for volunteering with the NPSAC from being a board member to helping support District Disability Programs, to coordinating a holiday social.
