Pick up your NPC passport after church throughout June and keep track of how you share your time and talents. When the Stewardship committee collects the passports in the fall, we’ll have wonderful stories to share with the community about our amazing congregation. If you have questions, contact Roslynn Lancaster or Loui Lord Nelson.
The Smock Church Deacon Funds established grants for PCUSA churches in Indiana to assist their Presbyterian church members who require emergency assistance in areas such as medical, utilities, rent, etc. If you or someone you know is in need, applications are being accepted now.
Rather than a week of VBS, we’re having evenings with dinner, activities, games, crafts, and a Bible lesson for your kids ages four through fifth grade. Even if your child couldn’t come for the first couple of weeks, you can still sign them up.
While Northminster is not hosting homeless families in our building this year, IHN/Family Promise continues its mission of “Every Child Deserves a Home” by housing 20 families in apartments. Significant funding for Family Promise comes from the Home Sweet Home dinner on September 29th at The Willows (more details to follow). We need donations for the silent auction.
Here’s how you can help:
Donate a handmade item like a quilt, knit socks, or baby blanket.
Donate a service like a Pilates class, house painting, or beer making.
Donate a restaurant/store gift card (minimum $25) or ask the facility to donate a gift card.
Create a gift basket with games, books, puzzles, pet items, etc.
Use your imagination!
Please get in touch with Dolly Craft, for more info and to make your donation.
Join us for an afternoon of food, fun, and fellowship at Victory Field. We’ll meet at Victory Field. Tickets are $11 and KIDS EAT FREE! Please RSVP by June 23rd.
