In November 2022, 250 people opened their hearts to enter the field of ‘New Leadership’, sensing that it is a vital topic for our times as world servers and as humanity as a whole.

All that follows in this article is built upon the comments and ideas generated within the group process.

For example, as we concluded our initial two days some key seed thoughts emerged:

‘We must be open and stay open to what is wanting to be manifested – we don’t need to name it and try to get ahead of it – be open to the emerging frequency – our current language may not be enough.’

‘New leadership means…

…becoming aware that we are moving from a focalisation in the mind to a situation where mind and heart are united – the leadership of contact…

… Leader as a magnet of Cosmic purpose – the Cosmic purpose, planetary purpose and specific purpose – we must work as a collaborative group to embody the interconnectedness of heaven and earth…'

When we contemplate the task of building a Temple from a leadership perspective, it may conjure up images of carefully planned labor and directed diligent construction over many years to raise a religious edifice consecrated to worship. Temples come in all shapes and sizes – from the universal to the individual – and yet their purpose is one and the same: namely, to create an outer representation of an inner pattern of harmony and sacred geometry that resonates with the Essential Note of the Creator.

A Temple is a place of homecoming – a blessed space where consciousness can expand so that the ‘many’ may find their way back into the One. As Plato stated, “God geometrizes continually” and temples, mosques, churches and holy places of worship and communion with the Infinite have, throughout the ages, been built in concordance with sacred geometry to be the House of God on Earth.

We might even postulate that the first act of Temple Building was in fact, the Creation of the Universe itself. Utilizing the language of the Ageless Wisdom teaching, the One Life about Whom Naught Can be Said, created from out of its own substance intelligent and responsive matter that could be fashioned into an outer projection and expression of the Divine Dream and Promise of Love that lives eternally in Its Heart...

This statement from the Agni Yoga teachings gives us a glimpse of the scale of the principle of hierarchy. In this short commentary inspired by the Agni Yoga teachings, Joleen DuBois President of the White Mountain Education Association, offers us a few windows through which we can consider our own relationship with ‘the idea of hierarchy’ and its place in our consciousness.

This seed thought says, “…the lower principle is subordinated to the higher.” This suggests that as we climb the ladder of evolution on a gradient scale, each step of the ladder leads to the Most High. Each step depends on the former steps and extends to the higher steps. One level receives from above and passes to below, receiving higher potentials and transmitting them to lower levels. As one goes higher on the ladder, they provide more powerful energy to the lower...

• What is leadership and what is its relationship to consciousness?
• Where do love, power, will, collaboration and hierarchy fit in the emerging models of leadership?
• What can we learn from past and present exemplars of leadership? And what is our responsibility in activating new leadership?
• What are the higher luminaries inviting us to consider and what seeds are already emerging?

This conference is a group work and every participant will bring their own energy, note and influence upon the discussion and themes as we move toward a partial synthesis on day 3 which we will develop further in our 3rd conference on leadership next year. See more
