New Faces – and Paws!

We are excited to welcome three new reuse specialists – Beverly, Blair, and Corbin – to our team! All three are passionate about reuse, and we are so grateful to have their help. Missoula is alive with home improvement and backyard projects as people socially distance and grow personally closer to their living spaces, and with that extra fix-it-up energy we have seen a steady stream of Home ReSource patrons. It's because of you that we can keep our doors open, help projects get rolling and continue hiring excellent people.

We are working hard to continue spreading our reach despite the challenges of COVID-19. New Home ReSource team members are so incredibly key to keep up with the substantial (and powerfully good) material donations we receive from our community. Our mission of moving towards Zero Waste is very much alive, and new team members always remind us of the widespread support Missoula has for that mission.

You may have noticed another Home ReSourcer palling around the store – Rufus! This half-pitbull half-german shepherd pup will be leading you through the featured items this week.

Thank you for shopping with us, and thank you for all the other ways you support waste reduction and sustainability in Missoula. If you see the new staff around the store feel free to introduce yourselves! We want to extend a big Home ReSource welcome to the new folks.

The Volunteers Return!

We have finalized our COVID-19 volunteer safety protocols and are inviting anyone who has volunteered in the past to come in and lend a hand! We take this virus seriously, and in practicing social distancing and limiting staff and volunteers over the past few months we have accumulated a relatively large amount of sorting, cleaning and denailing that needs doing!

Volunteer orientations will be hosted in the Home ReSource community room every Wednesday and Friday at 1pm.
