The couples massage nearly had me melting off the table. I’d never felt so relaxed in my life and being able to lay with Noah close to me made it even better.Â
“My entire body is butter. You could fold me in half and I wouldn’t feel a thing,” I say as I collapse on the bed.
“Is that so? Maybe I should take advantage of this burst of flexibility.” Noah grabs both of my ankles and pushes my knees to my chest. “Hmm…yeah, I could work with this.”Â
I giggle and stretch out my legs, rolling away so he can’t snap me in half. “Nice try. You promised to wine, dine, and cruise me first.”Â
“I most definitely am…but also…” He stands next to the bed and undresses. “We’re using that tub before we leave. Strip, woman.”Â
Noah fills it, and I watch as he adds oils and body soap. Next, he lights candles around the bathroom.
“Even though it’s not dark outside yet, we’re going to improvise.” Then he goes around and closes all the curtains.Â
My heart bursts out of my chest at every little detail Noah’s thought of. The champagne, the rose petals on the floor, the relaxing music. I didn’t think it was possible to love this man anymore than I already do but every day he proves to me why we should always be together.
“Alright, baby. Tub is full, let’s go.” He grabs my hand and helps me step in, then slides in behind me.
“Oh my God, it feels so good,” I moan out as I lay against his chest. His strong arms wrap around me as he feathers kisses on my neck.Â
“You deserve it, baby. I want to give you everything,” he whispers.Â
I look over my shoulder and make eye contact with him. “You’re all I want, Noah. You’re all I’ve ever wanted. This romantic weekend getaway is just a bonus.”Â
He smiles, then leans down and captures my lips.Â
“Even though I don’t deserve you, I’ll spend the rest of my life proving to you how special you are to me.”
