" For Better Governance Practices in Resource-abundant South "

MUSHAWARAT II

This project aims at providing the civil society in Gafsa and Tataouine with the capacity to advocate for better natural resource governance. It revolves around understanding the situation of national resource governance including revenue-sharinmechanisms, corporate social responsibility and access to available open data. it also includes modules on the decentralization process in Tunisia, includinglegal responsibilities of local institutions, challenges and opportunities for local civil society, as well as policy analysis and evaluation techniques, focusing on policy briefs and advocacy tools.

The 2nd Quarterly Meeting of Maghreb Entrepreneurs

The current situation in the Maghreb could be summed up in one question: Why are we collectively producing individually unwanted results?

Throughout this year, CARE, ICEM, and MEF have organized online meetings with the participation of many corporate leaders and economic experts to assess the economic impact from the synergy between the different Maghreb countries.

The Maghreb represents a tremendous opportunity for entrepreneurs to bring a bit of fresh air into their business which can be found in many sectors namely, automotive industry, offshoring, energy, renewable energy, water industry, waste management, health sector, farming, food industry, telecommunication, culture etc.

The objective of this webinar, exclusively dedicated to treat the business environment in the Maghreb is to give the floor to corporate leaders and employers’ confederations to speak about the current success stories and suggest some workable solutions for a vaster, extremely agile, and integrated regional business community.

The Tunisian Observatory of Women in Boards of Directors (BoD) and Executive Committees (ExCom)

We are so delighted to announce partnership with the Tunisian-American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Tunisia), the Tunis Stock Exchange, the National Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs (CNFCE) and the Central University to launch the Tunisian Observatory of Women in Boards of Directors (BoD) and Executive Committees (ExCom), the first body in Tunisia that supports the preparation of women to take up positions in boards of directors and executive committees (ExCom), also called Tunisian Women On Board Observatory (T-WOBO).

This Observatory aims to raise awareness of gender equality issues among governance and deliberative bodies in Tunisian companies and to prepare women for membership of Boards of Directors and Executive Committees by providing training, support, and visibility.
