However, when he comes face-to-face with the evil haunting an abandoned home in the small town, he discovers that the so-called bear has a very specific - and important - target.

The Serpent and the Scientist: As superpowered truth manipulator Clark Hudson and his human companion, Jane Thomas, trudge through the wilderness looking for a seemingly crazed half-bear half-man dead set on destroying his creator, Clark discovers that he’s up against an opponent that not only contains super strength, but multiple superpowers he doesn’t know how to fight.
3. The Serpent and the Hydra: When Clark Hudson, one of Nexus’ three super-powered spies, tries to protect a brilliant doctor from his own creation, he finds that he - and his human partner - are far out of their depth. With half-bear, half-human foe, Arthur, on the loose and creating an army out of a nearby amusement park’s cartoonish creatures, Clark realizes he has a fire-breathing dragon to face...literally.
4. The Serpent and the Dragon Shifter: Believing that he’s failed his mission to protect a doctor known for his wartime creations, supernaturally gifted Clark Hudson is ready to give up. When they discover that their ward is, in fact, still alive, their opinions of him shift completely as they uncover his real plans in regard to his supernatural son, who Clark has been chasing down for weeks. Clark and his human partner, Jane Thomas, are left to explore who is the real villain, and who can actually be trusted.

Clark is tasked with the difficult to-do of capturing him - and the seemingly impossible work of reversing the potentially life-threating modifications Arthur has endured.
