The false feel good trap!

Remember that procrastination is the intention-action gap.

So we have to move more away from intention (that can often make us feel really good) and more towards action (which tends not to, with the things we procrastinate on!).  When you’re feeling good from intending, planning and delaying, remember you’re getting a feel good hit from the wrong thing! The real feel good hit you’re after comes after action!

It’s time to get real!

This affirmation / mantra is such a good one to pull out the bag when you can feel yourself falling into the voluntary delay zone; to give you that feel good hit.

Know that your brain is lying to you!  Remind yourself that tomorrow won’t feel better!

And the more this becomes the narrative in your mind. The more the narrative to act now, will become your reality. And that’s where the magic is!
