We're bringing you 3Rs resources from beyond the NA3RsC.
This May we're back with more 3Rs from outside of the collaborative. Read on for virtual events covering everything from behavioral monitoring to organ-on-a-chip technology, for details on an important survey, & more!
It's your last chance to attend this virtual webinar on home cage analyzer tech, happening Wednesday May 12th at 9am EST. If you're interested in how this tech can improve welfare and scientific outcomes, register now!
You can help NA3RsC & UMichigan with a study on picking up mice! We're 50% of the way to their goal of 300 participants! If you work with mice, you are invited to take a 10min survey about your attitudes, knowledge, & implementation.
If you're interested in staying up to date on organ-on-a-chip tech, register now for the UK Organ-on-a-Chip Network symposium on May 19th from 8:30am-11:00am. Topics will cover microfluidics, Intestine-Microbiota-on-a-chip & much more!
You can now apply for a 2021 Global 3Rs Award. The Global 3Rs Awards recognize significant innovative contributions toward the 3Rs of animal research to advance ethical science. Winners will be presented $5,000 (USD) each. The application deadline in June 1st.
There's still time for you to register for the CALAS/ACSAL Symposium, starting June 4th! Topics will span the field of lab animal science, & all talks will be recorded. Be sure to save the date for a 3Rs presentation by NA3RsC on June 4th, 1:45-2:00pm!
As you can see, NA3RsC is working hard to advance the science and education of refining, reducing, and replacing animals in laboratory research. Your donation to the North American 3Rs Collaborative will enable us to expand these efforts.
We are grateful to all our current sponsors for supporting our 3Rs efforts.
