Celina will have a special Saturday story hour and craft.

No pre-registration needed.

All ages are welcome to join but the event is geared towards 1-6 year olds. 

Craft Time

A variety of fun Take & Make Crafts will be available starting March 1st.

Rooster Story Time

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 am.

Children up to age 6 will have fun listening to stories, learning nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs, and listening to music.

Marion (Chickasaw) Branch Events

Family Castle Building Night

Tuesday, March 8th at 6:30 pm: Calling all lords & ladies and princesses & princes to our Family Castle Building Night   All size boxes and materials will be provided so you can build your own castle (1 castle per family).                   

Participants will also receive a dragon take and make craft. 

Everyone welcome, no pre-registration required.

Lego Night

Lego night will be held on Thursday, March 17th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm

No age limit. 

Parental supervision required as some pieces are rather small. 

Lego night is held on the third Thursday of each month.

Book discussion

Tuesday, March 1st at 6:30pm: Book being discussed is The Dream Daughter by Diane Chamberlain.

Other Events

  • Story hour every Thursday morning at 10:30 am. No pre-registration required.
  • Senior Citizens play cards every Thursday afternoon at 1:30 pm.  Just drop in.

Winter Reading Challenge

Challenge your kiddo to a winter filled with reading! All children (ages newborn and up) can compete in our Winter Reading Challenge by reading 15 picture books or 5 chapter books. All participants who complete the challenge will win a prize!

Tales to Tails

Saturday, March 5 at 10:00 am

Tales to Tails helps young readers build reading confidence without the pressure of peers or adults.

Have your child read to Eli the Golden Retriever, a certified service dog who loves listening to stories!

 

Great Beginnings Book Club

Stop by  Wednesday, March 2 at 9:30 am for coffee and discussion of "The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek."

The next meeting will be Wednesday, April 6 and will discuss the book "Chasing Shadows" by Lynn Austin.
