SCOUTS BSA IS HERE

Our February 1 launch of Scouts BSA garnered a lot of media attention throughout the state. From a party at our Lansing office to celebrate the official formation of Troop 164, to a pizza and movie night with newly chartered Troop 7 in Oscoda, to a Lock-In and Launch Party at the North Oakland Family YMCA in Auburn Hills, we were celebrating this historic milestone. [READ MORE]

At the age of 10, Meredith is already a pioneer with the Michigan Crossroads Council.

Meredith, who attends Elmwood Elementary School, was among the first girls to participate in the MCC’s 2018 Popcorn sale, in addition to being among the first girls to join the MCC as part of its new Family Scouting program which was unveiled last year. She recently transitioned into the Scouts BSA program, which launched on February 1, and is now a member of Troop 1472. With a grand total of just over $19,000 in Popcorn sales, Meredith was the state and nation's top-selling girl.

MASON'S POPCORN SALE HELPS OTHERS IN NEED

In 2016, he purchased 10 years' worth of Pinewood Derby trophies for Pack 1053, which is the one he belonged to, and last year he purchased tents to replace 20-year-old tents that leaked when it rained, in addition to camp scholarships.

CAMPERSHIPS HELP SCOUTS

Helping every Scout attend summer camp is important to us and we want to make sure every Scout has that opportunity.  The Michigan Crossroads Council campership or in simpler terms camp scholarships is a way for Scouts to attend our Michigan Crossroads Council camps who otherwise would not be able to due to financial or economic need.  Campership funds are made possible by generous donors to our annual Friends of Scouting campaign. [MORE INFORMATION]
