- Please continue to observe the CDC Guidelines of avoiding close contact with those who are sick, maintaining at least 6 feet from others who are not from your household, wearing face masks when in public, washing your hands frequently, covering your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze, and leave home only when absolutely necessary. The Coronavirus COVID-19) is still spreading across the country. It is important to understand as much as possible about the disease to protect yourself and your family. You can watch this short video which provides some important information regarding the disease and its symptoms.
- We are so appreciative to Sister Janice Owens for accepting the responsibility of leading our Children’s Department. Thank you to Sister Charlie Peoples Brown, who after many years of faithful service has retired from this position. Parents, please welcome Sister Owens to this precious and sacred responsibility in educating and teaching our children in the Love of the Lord. Stay Tuned for upcoming events from the Children’s Department.
- The Pulpit Committee has prayerfully scheduled the public posting of the HPGMBC Pastoral Vacancy for Monday, July 13, 2020. The Pastoral Qualifications will also be available on the Church Website. Church members will be free to refer qualified candidates to the Website "Pastoral Position Opening" Tab for information regarding the application process. Please continue to pray for our Church and for the Pulpit Committee members along with the search process that everything will be done in decency and in order, but most of all that the Lord will direct every move and that His Will Be Done!
- Volunteers are needed to assist in the HPGMBC Online/Virtual Communications Ministry. Some of the needed knowledge and skills are Facebook and/or YouTube live streaming, video recording, video editing, general computer use, etc. If you are willing to assist, please click and complete this Contact Form. - Our Virtual Prayer Service by phone on Tuesdays has a New Time, 6:30 to 8 pm. Rev. Ron Jones teaches the week’s Sunday School Lesson at 7:30 pm.
