Enjoy Your time at home with AFCA!

We are thrilled to launch AFCA’s online 2020 summer club (The Little Prince) for French or English speaking children starting from 12th of July.
Our summer club program would integrate different activities in diverse arts fields such as Theater, Visual arts, Culinary arts, Creativity and Dance, and it’s suitable for children ages 4 – 12 years old.

Important to know: there is a possibility to register your child per day in our club.

Hours of the club: From 10:00 AM to 14:00 PM

From 12th of July till 27th of August 2020 (7 weeks)

Weeks:

Week 1: 12 to 16 July 2020

Week 2: 19 to 23 July 2020

Week 3: 26 to 30 July 2020

Week 4: 2 to 6 August 2020

Week 5: 9 to 13 August 2020

Week 6: 16 to 20 August 2020

Week 7: 23 to 27 August 2020

Registration fees: 1200 EGP/ Child per Week or 300 EGP/ Child per Day.

AFCA at IPAY virtual meetings..


IPAY, the International Association of Performing Arts for Youth, has held an on-line meeting on 11th of June with Mohamed El-Ghawy, our founder and artistic director, and other representatives of a number of international festivals and artists from different parts of the world with the objective of sharing the challenges of the current period that face all the performing arts for young audiences sector around the world, and trying to find together new creative paths that enable this sector to survive and make a meaningful contribution.

AFCA at the Atelier for Solidarity..

On the 14th of the last June Mohamed El-Ghawy, the founder and artistic director of AFCA, was selected together with 64 more festival directors and art makers from 41 different countries to participate in the Atelier for Solidarity organized by The Festival Academy. 

The program has lasted online for 6 days via Zoom platform, and the topics of the atelier were focusing on the impact of Covid-19 on the different aspects of life, especially, on the arts industry and its future.

Hakawy Out of Cairo - Project in Progress..

In preparations for (Hakawy Out of Cairo) project funded by the European Union Delegation to Egypt (EUD) in cooperation with the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) Cluster in Egypt, AFCA was invited to participate in an online assembly that Goethe Institute in Cairo has organized for all the grantees selected within the Open Call of the “Euro-Egyptian Cultural programme 2019-2020) with the intent of following up and keeping updated about their progress in the upcoming cultural projects that they’re working on at the moment.
