ReSA Membership update
ReSA is delighted to welcome the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) as our latest Organisational Member. ReSA Organisational Members support us financially to bring research software communities together to collaborate on the advancement of the research software ecosystem.
NASA explores the unknown in air and space, innovates for the benefit of humanity, and inspires the world through discovery. For more than 50 years, NASA has been breaking barriers to achieve the seemingly impossible. At its 20 centers and facilities across the country – and the only National Laboratory in space – NASA studies Earth, including its climate, our sun, and our solar system and beyond. They conduct research, testing, and development to advance aeronautics, including electric propulsion and supersonic flight. They develop and fund space technologies that will enable future exploration and benefit life on Earth. NASA is making a long-term commitment to building an inclusive open science community over the next decade. Open-source science is a commitment to the open sharing of software, data, and knowledge (algorithms, papers, documents, ancillary information) as early as possible in the scientific process.
