The Promise of Life is like a divine seed gracefully revealing its inner beauty as it unfolds in time, space and substance: season by season, cycle after cycle and era by era. 

With the passing of time, more is made possible as we expand our consciousness and enhance our capacity to deliver on this sacred promise.

We mark the passing of these temporal phases in years – from the annual celebration of birthdays and the span of an incarnation to those vast cycles encompassing the rise and fall of civilizations and on up to unimaginable rounds of the Cosmic Calendar. 

Then there are those auspicious moments within the boundless continuum of the evolutionary process when a number of these cycles line up to create a scalar portal through which new energies enter our Earth from deeper dimensions of the Cosmos. It may be viewed in the same way a combination lock works on a safe – when the numbers line up and click, we can safely open the vault. When these astronomical and astrological cycles line up and click open, we have access to the vault of heaven with its storehouse of refined riches.

We find ourselves living in one such pertinent period of stellar alignment when the Piscean Age gives way to the Aquarian Age and when the dark era of Kali Yuga finally finishes and the golden cycle of Satya Yuga begins. The Agni Yoga teaching describes the transition between these two cycles:

“Falsehood and darkness fill the end of Kali Yuga. One must realize this in order not to lose one's strength. It is impossible to avoid the dark days. And only a knowledge of their cause will give one the patience to survive them… Hence, in this Kali Yuga cycle of death and destruction for the Age of the Mind, there is already emerging a new paradigm of the Satya Yuga cycle – or golden age, a renaissance for the human spirit that will set the tone for the Age of Aquarius.” 

Roberto Assagioli was a member of a Group working and studying with Alice A. Bailey and arising out of this group work he became inspired to respond to a request made within the Bailey writings, in DINA II (Part XIV pp 231-239). 

This called students to establish a “united world group given to unanimous and simultaneous meditation upon the work of preparing the world for the new order and for the jurisdiction of the Christ* [and] to establish the knowledge of and the functioning of those laws and principles which will control the coming era, the new civilization and the future world culture …”

This call, responded to by Roberto and supported by Foster Bailey who recruited two co-workers Nancy Magor and Michal Eastcott, was to formulate a group of men and women of goodwill who would be prepared to use their prayer and meditation lives to bring to life the livingness of six core spiritual laws and principles of the soul in everyday life. Relationships imbued with these laws and principles give rise to a considerate and inclusive society – the New Era of human evolution.

The initial work focused on developing the papers and materials that became a 10-year programme of meditation, study and service.

It involved regular meetings between Roberto, Nancy and Michal (and others) as between them they formulated this powerful programme that, initially, was undertaken by many senior members of the Arcane School across the world...

The star-seed landed gently in the consciousness of the current holder of the 1^st Ray vertex in 2017. However, it didn’t germinate and grow until 2019 at The Planet Within Gathering at the Community of Living Ethics, in Italy. 

Thanks to an experiential workshop and the fostering of the Group Focalization training, a commitment was made to begin a star in Canada that Autumn, within the Society for the Enhancement of Quality of Life (SEQL).  Following a meditative process, self-selected members of the SEQL community became the vertex holders and we embarked on the study of the “Group in Star Formation”.

As the Canadian star, we study and meditate together, in person and subjectively, linking telepathically through the Star Meditation, Star Mantram and The Great Invocation.  We are grateful that the majority of our group can gather in person, at each Solstice and Equinox.  At each of our gatherings, we begin with a coordinated ritual that consists of a sounding of our vertex affirmations and the simultaneous lighting of 7 colour-coded candles, set on the beautiful table specially designed specifically for us, for this purpose.  At the end of our gatherings, we close the circle in reverse order.  

As co-collaborators, we have experienced the spaciousness of a universal rhythm as we enter meditation, experiment with developing creative imagination, enter group field, seed and share new thought forms, as we expand our awareness and service, as souls.
