Last year was exceptional and challenging for all of us in many ways. We were able to maintain high focus on sustainability. The goal achieved in minimizing our impact to the environment by reducing CO2 footprint is great.
In the last quarter of 2019, we substantially increased the use of profile systems that contain more of recycled uPVC in the cores. Based on our production volumes, we have reduced CO2 emissions by 39.2 tons until the end of 2020 (if compared to the virgin uPVC frames production). During this period, we reused 19.6 tons of uPVC in our products production that made our high-quality windows and doors even more eco friendlier. We delivered those products to many of our customers in Scandinavia and the EU.
Differences in temperature, climatic stresses and especially differences in altitude typical for high mountains areas lead to build-up of excess or negative pressure within insulated glass. The resulting tension and excessive loads can lead to glass breakages and premature ageing.
Just recently we have updated main uPVC windows and doors catalog revealing our full range according to uPVC products categories including all available series: ARCTIC, E-PASSIVE, ARCADE, NORDLINE, ELEGANT and PRESTIGE.
