3882 New UPM Students Enrol in the First Semester of 2019/2020 Session

The total number of new students shows an increase of 255 people or 6.5% compared to last year with 2627 enrolments comprising 1067 male students and 2560 female students. Read more

New International Student Welcoming Programme for the 2019/2020 Session

Under the programme, few briefings were given, including an introduction to LAX by the Centre for the Advancement of Language Competence (CALC), an introduction to UPM and i-PUTRA® by i-PUTRA®, and on the academic rules and regulations, visa and pass matters by the Immigration Department. TRACE District @ Zon Utara

28 July 2019, Sunday - TRACE District @ Zon Utara started its tracing journey on 28 July 2019 for
7 days covering Alor Setar, Sg. Petani, Kulim, Baling and Penang. Furthermore, Alumni
Centre took an approach in tracing alumni through several agencies and companies in
realising prospect collaboration between University Putra Malaysia and alumni in each
district. Among the agencies and companies traced are Kolej Vokasional Alor Setar,
Jabatan Perhutanan Negeri Kedah, Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Kota Setar, Kolej
Vokasional Sg. Petani 1, Kolej Vokasional Sg. Petani 2, Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah
Kuala Muda, POLIMAS, Kolej Komuniti Bandar Darulaman, Institut Pendidikan Guru
Kampus Darulaman, UniSHAMS, Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Kulim, Pejabat Pendidikan
Daerah Baling, Kolej Vokasional Kulim, Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi Mara Kulim, Pejabat
Pendidikan Daerah Seberang Perai Tengah, Kolej Vokasional Balik Pulau, Politeknik
Balik Pulau, Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Kubang Pasu, and two business owner alumni.

RM5000 from Chapter PK INTAN`90 to Putra Food Bank

06 July 2019, Saturday - Pertubuhan Kebajikan Chapter Alumni UPM Inspirasi Anak Tani 1990 or known as PK INTAN `90 is an association comprises of Diploma in Agriculture alumni class of 1990. This association has a sum of 300 members and for the first time they have successfully gathered every members in a reunion with Hari Raya and 50th birthday reunion theme. Hence, ‘Majlis Reunion Jubli Emas Raya PK INTAN `90’ was held on 6th July 2019 at the Office of the Deputy Vice Cansellor (Research & Innovation) building. Read more
