Remember to look back

As a maker I want to encourage you to remember to document your journey. I've said before that the road from indie maker to profitable business is a marathon, not a sprint. In order to keep your stamina up, and to keep going when it gets tough, you have to take time to reflect on how far you've come.

How many no-code tools are you able to use now that you weren't 6 months ago? If the answer is one or more you're doing great. Remember that the end result you're after is the end result. The journey itself is a series of ups and downs and detours.

You'll be there before you know it, just hang in there!

I've got some more introductions for you today...

πŸ“ˆ Trends Pro - Exclusive insights on new markets and ideas

For all the sectors of the tech/startup world where you're peeking over the fence and wondering what's going on, Dru Riley's Trends Pro is like the Kool-Aid Man busting a giant hole in that fence and giving you a clear picture of the landscape. Trends Pro is a weekly report on the hottest emerging trends, such as growth tools, open startups, and paid communities. Dru goes deep on these trends and covers the problem that existed before the trend began, who the major players are that are leading the trend, and how they're bringing solutions to market. He also includes his own predictions on how the trends will continue and what the outcomes will be.

One thing I love about Trends Pro is how each report includes links to some of the most compelling content around that trend, so you can easily get up to speed in a world you were previously unfamiliar with. Check out the link below to get it.

⚑ Meet STUDIO - Web Design Platform for All Creatives

STUDIO is a no-code web design platform that's built with the designer in mind. It's a great fit for teams because of all of it's collaboration features, but it's also a great builder for solo makers who lean more on the design side. The builder reminds me much more of Photoshop or Figma than your traditional no-code site builder.

It's insanely easy to build and design beautiful web experiences, without having to even think about the backend. All of the code is generated for you based on what you design. STUDIO is free on a subdomain, then just $9/mo to use your own domain. Try it out to see the difference in a design-first builder.

πŸ‘‹ Meet Jeremy Redman

Jeremy Redman is the founder of V/One and Not Boring Business, and quite possibly the most under-followed person on Twitter (there's a reason for that, which I'll get to later). I've seen Jeremy around but only recently had the pleasure of sitting down with him for a video chat and WOW I've been missing out. He's a one-man treasure trove of no-code value. Not only has he built 3 six-figure no-code companies, but he's also the creator of V/One, a no-code app builder that is insanely easy to use.

I had a great time meeting him (our chat will be on his podcast soon), and I love how he's put everything he has into this no-code movement. He's definitely one of the people moving it forward in a big way. I mentioned he's under-followed on Twitter, and that's because he doesn't post much. But we need to change that. You know I'm a big advocate of #nocode Twitter, so please everyone go follow him and maybe we can shame him into posting more of his wisdom!

πŸš€ Meet Zero to Marketing - Get better at marketing in 5 minutes a week

Zero to Marketing is an email newsletter that gives you actionable marketing and growth tactics, created by Andrea Bosoni. Each issue, Andrea walks you through a case study on a real company and gives excellent tips on how he'd grow that company's brand and online presence.

I love that it's a quick 5-minute read each week, but it's packed with tactics that you can use and apply to your own brand. You'll find yourself going back to each issue more than once to capture these nuggets of marketing wisdom. Zero to Marketing was built using Carrd (for the site) and Email Octopus (for the newsletter). You can sign up for Zero to Marketing at the link below to get inspired on not just marketing tactics, but also how to build a great newsletter!
