~ My Really Sucky News ~
Last Saturday, we woke up to discover our truck had been stolen from Paulās shop, along with the small trailer that was attached to it. Shock. Really thatās the only word that applies. Sadly, even our little corner of the world is changing. Someone built a āgrow houseā (pot farmers) on a plot of land across the creek from us. Although some growing is legal, the size of this operation far exceeds the amount allowed by law. Three weeks ago, an inspector for our new septic line told us she would get it shut down. Itās still operating. Sigh. The wheels of justiceā¦
Long story short, the trailer was dumped on the side of the road twenty miles or so from us. The truck turned up three days laterātotaled. The driver and passenger fled the scene. Thankfully, the driver of the car they hit was not injured.
Hereās Paul with his lovely, tricked-out truck with our new signs, and a few shots I took at the salvage yard. (Notice: they spray-painted over our logos. And the impact of the crash folded the front tire back until it broke off.)
