Colorado Sibshop Facilitator Training

Training with Emily Holl of the Sibling Support Project
· Sibshops address the complex emotions of having a sibling with a disability through connection
· Sibshops are an educational and supportive experience for school aged siblings in the disability community
· Over 90% of the respondents said Sibshops had a positive effect on the feelings they had for their siblings
· Sibshops have been shown to positively impact individuals long into adulthood
· Research shows that Sibshops impact siblings long after participating in the program
