Monday, September 12th, and Wednesday, September 14th
Did you know that Borough residents and business owners are welcome to attend Borough Council meetings? Whether you want to participate by speaking during the designated time for public comment or simply want to understand more about the process and decision making involved in your local government, your participation is important.
Work session meetings are held on the first Mondays of each month, with a follow-up meeting two days later, on Wednesdays, when the Council takes action and votes on items discussed. All meetings are held at 7pm at 600 S. Broad Street, 3rd floor. If you prefer to attend virtually, click here for the Zoom link.
Please note that because of the Labor Day holiday, the September meetings will be held this week—on Monday, September 12th and Wednesday, September 14th.

Farewell and welcome . . . |
|
You may have noticed a few changes in our business district over these past weeks. Running a small business is a calling that requires passion, expertise, creativity, and countless hours of hard work, and we're grateful to each of our local small business owners for investing in our town.
We will miss the beautifully curated No. 109 Shop, the endlessly wondrous Penny Lane Emporium, and the always delicious Byrsa Bistro. We wish Heather, Shannon, and Ahmed all the best in their future endeavors! (You can also check out Byrsa Bistro's new location in West Chester.)
While we're sad to see these businesses close, we're happy to welcome Irma and Ana and their family-owned Crazy Deli Crepes Café to 110 S. Union Street! Please stop in to say hello and try one of their delicious sweet or savory crepes. Everything is made fresh to order—and they even offer gluten-free crepes.
Stay tuned for announcements of other great small businesses coming soon to KSQ!
Thank you for reading and for continuing to support our community and local events and small businesses.
We wish you a happy and healthy week "Around the Square."
Bo Wright, Executive Director
Kelli Prater, Community Engagement Manager
Tara Smith, Writer and Special Projects Manager
