FSU College of Motion Picture Arts acquires theater for college expansion

Florida State University has completed the acquisition of the Governor’s Square theater complex in Tallahassee, a significant milestone for the College of Motion Picture Arts. The acquisition enhances the college’s production facilities and supports its commitment to innovation by providing essential space for virtual production, production design and a new entrepreneurial feature film program, in addition to opportunities for screening films. Anne’s College Dean Damon Andrew begins term as president-elect of American Kinesiology Association

Damon Andrew, dean of the FSU Anne Spencer Daves College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences, begins his first term as president-elect of the American Kinesiology Association (AKA) this week. FSU chemists advance biotherapeutics with innovative imaging research

New research from FSU Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry's Christian Bleiholder and Fanny C. Liu shows that a particular type of monoclonal antibody known as NISTmAb retains its structure even if the sugar molecules attached to it are changed. Their work, published in Chemical Communications, is a pivotal step in understanding protein dynamics in NISTmAb and offering clarity to biopharmaceutical developers who use monoclonal antibodies to develop new treatments. Read more ...
