Half-Term Activities

We've got some great activities for the kids this half-term. A week off doesn't need to break the bank for parents. Lego and Garden Craft are FREE activities with a small charge in place for Face Painting / Craft Workshops and the Beetle Drive.

It's on a first come first served basis with session times noted for each activity. Click on the poster to view the details.

If you just want a breath of fresh air with the kids then the skate park, BMX Track, Zip Wire and playground are on site for your enjoyment and the cafe is open 9am until 4pm daily providing refreshments and toilet facilities.

The events calendar for 2019 is coming together...

Following on from last year's successes we have pencilled in some great events and activities for Spring and Summer. We asked for feedback and have included some of your ideas within the programme. French style markets featured highly in the poll so we've arranged for an Artisan Market to visit on 1st June and 1st September* delivering home made items and fresh produce to our local community. A lot of feedback also centred around sporting activity so our Community Sports Day on 23rd June should tick that box.  Click image below to view in larger format.

*Artisan Market was originally advertised as 7th Sept on FB but now moved to 1st Sept due to Orsett Show clash.

AGM in full colour

If you couldn't make it down to the park for the AGM in January you can catch up on 'you tube' here!

AGM Video Footage

We'd like to thank those in the community that attended. Your support of the park is much appreciated.

Interest in the project is welcomed and if you would like to get more involved we are always seeking new Trustees and Volunteers. Two new local residents have joined the trustee board following the AGM. We would like to welcome Carmel & Simon on board.

Like the idea of being a trustee but not sure what it involves? CLICK HERE for more information.

We'll be introducing you to our trustees over the coming year. Watch this space...

New year, new club maybe?

Crafting, gardening, shedding, art, board games ... whatever your bag you can find something to engage with at the park. These are the adult clubs that we provide a home for with passionate volunteers and local community groups. If you have a hobby or craft that you would like to share with others then please get in touch. Our cafe is open from 9am to 4pm and would welcome your company.

A new group 'Storytellers' will be meeting at the cafe on Tuesday evenings from 21st February run by Rosemary and Sarah for open minded creatives to discuss their projects.  Read more here to gain an understanding of what it's all about.

We love to hear about your experience on Tripadvisor

Whether it was your first visit to the cafe or you are a regular to the park please take a minute to share your views on Tripadvisor. We love a review in person too but Tripadvisor really helps spread the word and let's people outside our close community see what we have to offer. Onwards and upwards :0)

Here's the link to our page.

We currently have 30 very positive reviews of which 26 were graded Excellent.

Loving the 5 green dots!
