Deals, steals, and news from author Michelle Isenhoff.

Did you make any New Year's resolutions? I only made two: Take the puppy for a walk every day, which I'm doing a splendid job keeping, though walking just doesn't melt off those Christmas pounds like getting my mountain bike out in the spring. (By the way, thank you so much for the outpouring of sympathy after my last newsletter about Bailey's demise. I was blown away by how many of you responded. Still miss her, but Toffee is shaping up to be a sweet little thing.)

My second resolution was to reread my Recompense series, now that it's been out for a year, to judge them more objectively and catch the last little errors that slipped through my editing team. I'm proud to say I didn't find many AND I really enjoyed the stories! I can never say that when I first finish them. After gaining some perspective, I have concluded that this is definitely my favorite series among my own work.

Anyway, all five books are fresh and shiny. If you've never read them, it's a great time to pick up the series. Book one is FREE!

So, how are you doing on your resolutions?

Before you go, be sure to check out the books and promos featured below. They're always free or bargain priced. I generally bounce between speculative and historical fiction (the main genres I write in), and sometimes some fantasy, middle grade, or a bit of romance, just to keep things interesting.

Happy reading!

Michelle

Deals and steals:

George Saoulidis

This .99 omnibus contains 17 short stories that take place in the Antigravel Universe. (Heads up: I screen for language, but looks like this one got past me.)

Maira Dawn

This free novella is a stand-alone story in the continuing post-apocalyptic Sanctuary’s Aggression Series.

The rabies pandemic ripped through her city, leaving chaos and destruction. Now the Sick wander the streets. Gangs of the healthy prey on each other. And Kelsey is in the middle of it all. How does a young girl survive the impossible? Read this stand-alone story in the continuing post-apocalyptic survival story of the Sanctuary’s Aggression Series.

Ginny Sterling

This one's right up my alley. American Revolution, humor, clean romance, double agents...just 2.99 for this stand-alone book within the Lawkeeper series. (Is it me, or does she resemble Scarlett Johansen?)

In Frenchwoman Madeline Anjou's heart beats with the soul of a true patriot. Alden Knox is a double agent for the Cause and walking a very dangerous path. War brings them together.
