Craft Beer Evening & CareerWeek

Last month the Career Week took place, where students had the chance to follow interesting lectures, where Psychologists working in different fields gave insight into their everyday work, or to follow interactive courses, e.g. the Mindfulness Training. And, since the COVID-19 restrictions were finally eased, we had a lot of in-person activities last month! On time for the end of the module, AcCie organized a Craft Beer Evening, where students could taste different kind of beer while learning about their origin and differences in production and brewing.

March: it is the first month of Spring! The time of warm weather, blossomed trees, chirping birds, and my favourite season. But there is one March in my life that I cannot easily forget! March 2020. It was three days before the Ministry of Health announced the first Covid-19 patient in Northern Cyprus. I had heard of Covid, but I didn’t think it would spread to the whole world and change our lives on a large scale at that time. My friends and I decided that it was a great sunny Sunday, and we should make the most of it. We hopped in the car to go on a small road trip to the coast side. We had a perfect breakfast by the sea, enjoyed the beach, and enjoyed the songs in the car during the journey. Everything about that day is so perfect and joyful. When they announced the Covid lockdowns, I was so glad we had a good fun day together with my friends before it. Since the measures of Covid are loosening again, we can finally enjoy being with our friends even more and going on fun trips together. I wish all of you a fantastic March and Spring overall!
