I wanted to drop a quick note to let you know that there are many—and more to come—events for CALIFORNIA GOLDEN now up on my website, starting with the launch event on August 8th here in Chicago and ending up in northern California in mid-September. And as you might guess from the title, there are many, many events in California!
I also wanted to alert you to the impending possible UPS strike that might make it difficult to get books in people’s hands, unless you preorder now so that stores can get supplies in before any strike happens. Preorders are always important for authors and publishers; it’s how we set print runs, it’s how we gauge early interest. This time around it might be the difference between getting a book on August 8th and having to wait.
