Summer has officially arrived, and here's hoping this lovely weather sticks around!  If you’re planning a beach day, heading to an event, or gearing up for a weekend of live music, there’s plenty happening across Hull & East Yorkshire right now.

First up, we’ve put together a handy list of some of the best beaches in EY; perfect for soaking up the sun, grabbing ice cream, or just enjoying a peaceful coastal walk. Have a read of the article below and get your next beach day sorted.

A few weeks back, we popped along to a fantastic family event at the Marina; it was such a great day in the sunshine, and there are more just like it lined up this summer! Watch the vid below to get a feel, and see which ones you fancy heading to.

And finally, if live music’s your thing, a triple music festival is heading to Hull very soon, bringing three different events packed into one huge weekend. We’ve put together a preview so you can check it out below and start planning.

And as always, there are tons of other great events taking place in Hull & East Yorkshire this week. You’ll find Armed Forces Day celebrations in Hull city centre this Saturday, an afternoon of live 90s hits to dance the day away, and a craft fair at Burton Constable Hall where you can discover everything from homemade sweets to handmade jewellery and gifts.
